The Wooden Wick is a great alternative to the traditional cotton wick. With its "fire side" effect, you will be sure to think you are sitting around a campfire every time you light it.
- It provides a unique burn that crackles while lit
- Wooden wicks are more sustainable than cotton wicks
- They help to keep your lungs and the air clean of soot
- They are not treating once they are cut, leaving you with a clean burn
- Thousands of wicks can be made from one tree
Wooden wicks should be trimmed to 1/4" before each burn. Remove all burned bits before relighting, you can do this by pulling it off with your hands.
Make sure to burn your candle to 1-2 hours minimum the first time you burn it, and ensure the wax is melted edge to edge to get the most out of your candle.
Never let your candle burn more than 4 hours. Burning for more than 4 hours can cause your jar to overheat.
